I am excited to share the next chapter of our journey together. As many of you know, my blog began with my personal story of growing up in care homes in the 80s and my path to becoming a qualified social worker. Moving forward, I am thrilled to expand our focus and dive deeper into topics that matter to us all.

2. Advice and Tips: Look out for practical advice for aspiring social workers, including study tips, career guidance, and strategies for managing the challenges of this rewarding profession. Care leavers will also find valuable insights on navigating life after care.
3. Interviews and Guest Posts: I will feature interviews with fellow social workers, care home residents, and professionals from related fields, bringing diverse perspectives and enriching our discussions. Hearing from care leavers and their journeys will also be a key focus.
